Nine years ago, a small gym on the western edge of Tokyo experienced its first golden age as it reared three champions holding a national or regional title. Established in 1995 in a rural suburb of the capital, Hachioji Nakaya Boxing Gym saw its first titleholder, light flyweight Koki Tanaka, crowned in January 2000. Middleweight Satoru Suzuki and featherweight Yuji Gomez followed Tanaka’s example, claiming belts within the next 14 months. According to Pancrase's official Twitter (translated by Shiroobi of SkillMMA), UFC veteran and Cage Force champion, Kuniyoshi Hironaka, will face Saturo Kitoaka on the October 3rd Pancrase card at Differ Ariake in Tokyo, Japan.

Tapology.com reports that Bellator tournament champion, Joe Warren, will fight on DREAM 16 against top 10 ranked, Michihiro Omigawa. Warren is scheduled to fight for the Bellator featherweight championship against Joe Soto on September 2nd.

Tatame.com is reporting that DREAM featherweight champion, Bibiano Fernandes, has been contacted by DREAM to fight on September 21st. Fernandes told Tatame, "I won't fight until they pay me for the last fight" in response to DREAM's offer. "The Flash" last fought on March 22nd in a successful title defense against Joachim Hansen.

According to Chris Nelson, former Sengoku Lightweight Champion, Satoru Kitaoka, will return to action on October 3rd for the Pancrase promotion. Sengoku veteran, Seiya Kawahara, will also be on the card.
