It's Showtime Japan: Giorgio Petrosyan vs. Hinata Fight Video
Giorgio Petrosyan and Hinata Watanabe met in the headlining bout at It's Showtime Japan Countdown 1 on July 16th. The bout saw Petrosyan engage Hinata in a manner that may come as a pleasant surprise to those who believe the two-time K-1 MAX champion has fallen into a bit of a lull in his recent bouts.
Hinata was simply out-struck throughout the course of the bout, unable to land anything of his own while repeatedly eating shots from Petrosyan. It is interesting to see the ease with which Petrosyan was able to land his left cross against Hinata, a fellow southpaw.
As fans well know, Petrosyan was able to secure a wide decision victory, though he re-injured his left hand in the bout. The injury has forced him out of the upcoming It's Showtime Fast and Furious 70 kg. tournament on September 24th, and it seems we won't see the Armenian-Italian fighter returning to the ring until at least November.

Good stuff from Petrosyan
The guy is just on another level.
Definitely.
Hinata is a real top fighter… some qualities about him that are troubling, but a top guy just the same. Another impressive win for Petrosyan.
