UFC 132 Cruz vs Faber 2 Spike Results: Play by Play and Commentary

The facebook portion of this card was a decision fest which is probably not what the UFC wants in preliminary bouts. Unfortunately, some of them ended up being total stinkers in Aaron Simpson vs Brad Tavares and Takeya Mizugaki vs Brian Bowles. 

The Spike TV portion of the card features Georges Sotiropoulis and Rafael Dos Anjos as well as Melvin Guillard against Shane Roller. Following this card, it will move to Pay Per View which is headlined by Dominick Cruz fighting Urijah Faber and Chris Leben fighting against Wanderlei Silva. Tito Ortiz is also fighting for his job tonight against Ryan Bader. 

George Sotiropoulis vs Rafael Dos Anjos

Round 1: Rafael Dos Anjos with some nice leg kicks early on. Both fighters are trying to establish range. HOLY SHIT! Rafael Dos Anjos lands a massive right hayemaker. Remember when he was gonna get a title shot? YIKES!

Melvin Guillard vs Shane Roller

Round 1: Guillard with a jumping knee and a high kick. Comes forward with a combo that lands and kick to the body that lands hard. Leg kicks are landing as does a kick to the body. Roller is saying he was poked in the eye? Leg kicks by Guillard are landing. A striking exchange was a bad idea and Roller almost landed. Big left hook by Guillard and Roller goes down. He's back up and Guillard lands a massive knee and then a hook and Roller is down. Two punches and Roller is out.
