ITALIAN 18YO WINS HIS FIRST FIGHT IN LUMPINEE STADIUM BANGKOK

Lumpinee stadium Bangkok Saturday 5 March 2011. Mathias Pattaya Kombat Vs. Chartpayak Sit-Ajarnmanote. Mathias wins by TKO in the 2nd round. Wirat Vachiraratanawong is the promoter of the Lumpinee’s Saturday nightgala in which a few fights are live on 2 Thai channels.

It is Mathias’s first fight in Lumpinee, he’s nervous but very focused and determined !

The thai is shorter and buff, in the morning’s check weight he had lose around 2 pounds and so he hardly reached 128 Pounds.

The sound of the first few middle kicks from the thai remind us that we are in Lumpinee in the well known Saturday night’s event. Mathias throws a few kicks in the first round to taste the thai’s abilities, who in the second round makes the mistake of not blocking Mathias’s low kicks underestimating them, not much longer and the thai’s legs are hurt and he goes down. The referee counts and the thai gets back up and suddenly tries a strong counter attack throwing punches and kicks but Mathias has got enough experience to not get impressed and he keeps kicking the Thai’s left leg until the referee finally stops the fight.

The thai goes back to his corner hardly walking when Mathias just started to warm up, it is a pity that we haven’t seen 5 rounds. We are back in Lumpinee on the 9th of April and probably live on Thai tv !
