Sudsakorn Will Return to Italy for Fight Code: Oktagon 2011 on March 12th
Event organizers have indicated that Muay Thai specialist Sudsakorn Sor. Klinmee will be fighting in Italy once again at the Fight Code: Oktagon 2011 event to be held in Milan on March 12th.
Fight Code: Oktagon 2011 is of course headlined by the 70kg. bout between Giorgio Petrosyan, who defeated Sudsakorn at Thai Boxe Mania 2011 in Torino on January 29th, and top Brazilian Muay Thai fighter Cosmo Alexandre. The event will also include a bout between Armen Petrosyan and Yoshihiro Sato and another between Khalid Bourdif and Marcus Oberg.
It appears that Sudsakorn will be replacing Adem Bozkurt against China's Xu Yan in a preliminary bout which is part of Fight Code's ongoing Dragon Series (72.5kg.) tournament. Yan is certainly not an opponent that Sudsakorn can afford to look past, but his entrance into the tournament really does shake things up a bit. Out of the competitors named thus far for the Fight Code 72.5kg. tournament, Sudsakorn must definitely be included alongside Armen Petrosyan, who won his preliminary bout against Miodrag Olar in January, and Dzhabar Askerov in the discussion of favorites to win.
The announcement doesn't come as a huge surprise, as Sudsakorn was expected to fight in Europe more often following his recent dismissal from the Thai Fight 2011 67kg. Thailand Qualifier. The Thai standout, who was atop his preliminary group in that tournament, was dismissed because of a contractual violation stemming from his bout against Giorgio Petrosyan.
This next Fight Code event really is looking like it should be a good one. We'll be sure to keep you posted on any more updates related to the card.

I'm quite interested by the fact that Sudsakorn is being matched up with Xu Yan.
I’m yet to see a comprehensive list of competitors but unless the remaining field is quite strong, this could be one of those bouts where a guy that could have gone fairly deep in the tournament is going to be sent out early.
What's the full card looking like?

For the March 12th event specifically?
It’s pretty much still what I listed in the old post about it. They’ve got it posted at oktagon.it here.
Thing with the Dragon Series (72.5kg.) and Rhino Series (105kg.) tournaments is that Fight Code is spreading it out over the course of a number of events around the continent. I’ve heard ten locations thrown around in total; for example, the next Rhino Series fights will be in Doncaster, England in April. Then they’re going to Budapest and Istanbul for further fights in both tournaments.
