Jason "Mayhem" Miller vs. Tim Kennedy in the Works for Strikeforce: Columbus
According to the folks over at MMAMania, Strikeforce looks to have booked the deciding fight in the Jason "Mayhem" Miller/Tim Kennedy trilogy. The fight has been planned for March 5 at the creatively dubbed, Strikeforce: Columbus.
As mentioned, the fight will be the third encounter between the two, with Kennedy taking the first by decision in 2003 in the semi-finals of a one night, eight-man Extreme Challenge tournament and Mayhem taking the second via close decision in 2007.
While the ledger is even between the two, there wasn't an overwhelming desire from either party to this one happen.
For the past few months or so, Mayhem had been at his annoying/endearing best to get a fight between himself and Strikeforce welterweight champion, Nick Diaz set up. He was stonewalled by the Diaz camp almost immediately but that did not stop him from beating that drum/dead horse on almost a daily basis since then.
Kennedy on the other hand is coming off a recent five round decision loss to Strikeforce middleweight champion, Ronaldo Souza. Kennedy has been very vocal about how he feels he was robbed in that bout (he wasn't) and how everyone in Strikeforce doesn't want to fight him.
Regardless of the circumstances that brought these two together again, it should be a good scrap like the last one and will most likely line either fighter up with a shot at the Strikeforce title in late Spring/early Summer.

Oh and I am quite the happy camper for I now have a space between Sam and Cupitt. Making it big son.
Not that I condone facism or any ism for that matter. Isms are in my opinion, not good. A person shouldn't believe in an ism, he should believe in himself.
I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me". Good point there, after all he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. Wouldn't change the fact I have to bum rides off of people.
