Artur Kyshenko v. Hinata Fight Video
Here's one of the fights I've been looking forward to seeing for the past few weeks: Artur Kyshenko v. Hinata in the main event of RISE 68 on July 31. There was a lot of talk about this fight when it happened - now check it out for yourself:
First things first - that was a beautiful body kick KO. There's something great about seeing a KO like that, and this was every bit the amazing finish I had heard it was.
That said, Hinata is going to draw the ire of some fans with this one. He already has some hate his way due to some groin shots in the Zambidis fight last year, but now there is a growing feeling that he kicked Kyshenko when he was down at the end and perhaps should have been disqualified. Personally, I don't quite see it. I think he's a young fighter who is not yet as disciplined as he could be, but I didn't see his actions here as the equal to Badr Hari's flagrant late strike on Hesdy Gerges. I'll be interested to hear other takes on it though.
Overall, this was an exciting, if kind of weird fight. Lots of slips and takedowns, along with a healthy mix of unorthodox kicks make this a strange outing from both men. I'm a big Kyshenko fan, but he has not impressed me much as of late, and he continued to look a bit off his game here, while Hinata continues to rise.

Man, it was strange. It looked like that first spinning heel kick to the liver have hurt Artur big time, he looked very awkward after that, like he wasn’t committing to his kicks, was kind of unbalanced after throwing them. It didn’t look like usual lazy/cocky Kyshenko that we’ve seen in previous fights, he seemed hurt.
"...ride life straight to perfect laughter,
it's the only good fight there is."
Ya Kyshenko definetly looked off compared to his last couple fights. I dont think Hinati was going for a blatant late kick/foul but more of already in the heat of things an unable to stop himself. Which comes down to disciple as you mention. Either way one hard mofo’ing shot to the solarplexis thats for damn sure lol!! Beautiful kick :D Too bad Hinata is so hit or miss, same for Artur lately too actually :/
How do you Know where Im at? If you dont Know where Ive been...Understand where Im coming from??
That’s classic Japanese kickboxing at work there, it’s something was influenced by MT – for the record I’m talking about that follow up kick. That said, it’s under K-1 rules and he should try to remember that. It’s not going to be easy though, once a fighter does it he’ll always be susceptible to act on his instinct to follow up.
It’s obvious that most of the people that are mad are just pissed that Hinata beat their boy/their latest wetdream.
Does anyone think
Hinata was losing that fight before the kick?
