UPDATE: Alright Guys, Who Stole Semmy Schilt's 2009 K-1 World Grand Prix Belt?
Fess up and maybe he won't begin raining down knees of fury upon your face. Sem Schilt just posted on his Twitter (it is official, linked to his website and Facebook) that somebody has stolen his belt.
someone has stolen my #k1belt, this mother#@%&* better return it
We have to ask ourselves, if you are going to steal something, why something so identifiable as Semmy Schilt's K-1 World Grand Prix title? It isn't like if it turns up on ebay you won't be able to identify it. K-1 only hands out one of these a year.
UPDATE: I just spoke with one of my Dutch contacts for further information on the story. Semmy was filming in his gym with all of his World Grand Prix belts laid out on display for the film. The whole robbery was caught on tape by the cameraman, so they have a very good idea of who did it. Semmy is livid that somebody would steal from him in his own gym, but has decided to not go to the police until Monday to give the thief the weekend to make good and return the belts without any punishment.

Guy Ritchie could make a movie out of this. It could even be good.
Well, anybody who knows me knows I'm no fan of dictionaries or reference books. They're elitist. Constantly telling us what is or isn't true. Or what did or didn't happen.
That is brilliant.
I want to draft up the screenplay like right now.
I imagine Sem Schilt in like a leather jacket being driven around roughing people up and the protag being some dumb kid tweaked out of his mind who doesn’t know what he got himself into.

Just saw this on Semmy’s Twitter:
“Hey Dennie B you better return my #K1belt i want it back before 18.00. today!!!
about 5 hours ago via web "
That guy is either incredibly brave or incredibly stupid, and I’m leaning toward the latter.
