Patrice Quarteron v. Bob Sapp Fight Video

Yesterday we looked at Patrice Quarteron's bizarre plan to get a fight with Jerome Le Banner, so this seems like a good opportunity to see the tall Frenchman in action.  Here he is against Bob Sapp from 2009.  As always with Sapp, this isn't exactly much of a fight, but Sapp is always high on the entertainment value.

Man, how big is Quarteron?

He’s tall. I’ve seen him listed as 6’6". Not sure if that’s 100% accurate.

People should stop booking Bob Sapp for fights.. he is just pathetic nowadays, curls up like a little girl and quits as soon as he gets hit. I guess some still haven’t caught up to that, but when you’ve seen him in more than a few appearances like this one, I don’t see how there can still be any interest. That’s how I feel, anyway.

That being said, I will be going to an event in Stockholm in November, where Bob Sapp will catch a beating from Swedish former K-1 fighter and Muay Thai world champion Jörgen Kruth, under MMA rules :) I’m not too excited about this particular match-up for above reasons, but the rest of the card should more than make up for it. Arthur Kyshenko vs Marcus Öberg under K-1 rules is also booked, very cool fight.

Bob Sapp makes me sad. Doesn’t he have enough money to stop fighting by now?

Watch the Patrice Quarteron – Attila Karacs fight,a very fun brawl. Attila is out national hero, when it comes to kickboxing, but he is pretty much unknown in the mainstream media, unlike our best boxers. Well…I should add that we have a WBC cruiserweight champion, and an olympic gold medalist,so thats understandable.
