Melvin Manhoef v. Ruslan Karaev Fight Video

More fun with Melvin Manhoef today as he takes on Ruslan Karaev at a K-1 2007 event in Amsterdam.  Karaev shares Manhoef's joint attributes of being heavy-handed and weak-chinned - not exactly the best combo for a sustained future at the top of the ranks, but definitely a pairing that makes for exciting fights.  Karaev was coming in off two straight KO loses, to Badr Hari and Glaube Feitosa, while Manhoef had just been stopped by Ray Sefo.

That one is over so fast that you actually have to rewind and watch again to even get a sense of what just happened.  But man is that a violent series of blows Manhoef uses to put Karaev out.  It would be over a year after this fight before Karaev stepped back inside a K-1 ring.
