Melvin Manhoef v. Paul Slowinski Fight Video
I talked about this fight a bit in previewing the K-1 Oceania event, and here it is. Paul Slowinski v. Melvin Manhoef in the reserve fight from the 2008 K-1 Grand Prix. For Manhoef, this was a return to K-1 after spending much of 2008 focused on MMA and competing in the Dream MW tournament. Slowinski had won a GP event in 2007, and since then had gone 5-3 with tough loses to Schilt, Bonjasky, and Saki. Both men were looking to get themselves back on firm footing in K-1, and of course, both men would use their fists to do just that.
Manhoef has always fought a real "kill or be killed" style, but as of late he's found himself on the losing end of that equation far too often. This is a potent example of what happens when he wins, and a good reminder that he's not someone to be written off.

Manhoef, Arlovski and Karaev...
These are the fighters that are the most frustrating to be a fan of. So much potential but they’re constantly on and off and make some really silly mistakes as well as put on some amazing performances. Either way, I’ll always be fan
