Earlier this week, we reported that Naoki Ishikawa (right) would take part in a featured bout at Krush.9 on August 14. Now his opponent is set, as Ishikawa will face Ryuji Kajiwara.
This is a rematch, as the two fighters first met at an All Japan Kickboxing Federation show in 2007 with the fight being declared a majority draw.
Ishikawa comes in off his upset loss to Kizaemon Saiga at the K-1 63kg Grand Prix. One of the early favorites in that tournament, Ishikawa really needs to bounce back here and score a win.
Kajiwara is a former J-Network Lightweight champion. His last fight was an impressive decision win at Krush.6 against Daisuke Endo.
