Daily Fights: Mirko CroCop v. Mike Bernardo
One last Mirko CroCop fight to celebrate his UFC 115 victory over Pat Barry. This time, the victim/opponent is Mike Bernardo, one of K-1's original bruiser knock out artists, with a resume including multiple KO's over huge names like Peter Aerts, Andy Hug, and Francisco Filho. This fight is from October 1999, the Final 16 for the 1999 Grand Prix. CroCop came in with a modest K-1 record of 3-2, fresh off a loss to Xhavit Bajrami.
It's a miracle Bernardo even made his feet after that first kick, but it's all over from there. This qualified CroCop for the Grand Prix, where he would make it all the way to the finals, ultimately losing to his nemesis Ernesto Hoost in an excellent fight.

I dont know if I ever seen Bernardo get schooled like this before. He was one tough mofo with very good hands/power/size,and Mirko just owned him.
I like this daily fight idea,so many fights to pick from.

Yeah I’ve been watching a lo of Bernardo lately, he’s awesome and sadly overlooked. I’d put him just a notch below JLB on the list of K-1 greats to never wear the GP crown.
Thanks for the feedback too – if there’s any fighters or anything else you want to see the Daily Fights focused on, let me know!

Don't Be Stingy
This could be the end of Cro Cop’s career, we need a few more vids at the very least!
