Kyotaro, Schilt and Hari Victorious; a Few Surprises
The biggest surprise of the evening perhaps was the fact that Peter Aerts came in extremely light and lean, the leanest in his career. On top of that, Peter Aerts ended the night on the canvas with Kyotaro standing over him victorious. Kyotaro is known for being a rather reserved fighter but has still shown like in the Melvin Manhoef fight that he can unload when he wants to and knock someone out. Kyotaro wen into his fight with Peter Aerts as the defending champion as well as the underdog, nobody was expecting him to survive, never mind knock Aerts out, but that is exactly what happened.
This is a giant step for Kyotaro and a maturing bout, with this victory over Aerts he has proven that he can hang with th very best and should be taken seriously. Kyotaro will without a doubt be a fighter to look for in this year's tournament.
Semmy Schilt continued his dominance over fellow Golden Glory teammate Errol Zimmerman, but Zimmerman held strong and fought valiantly, sadly he was just not able to break the Goliath's defenses. Zimmerman was able to stay standing the entire fight.
In the main event Badr Hari shocked no one and took the fight to Ignashov, dropping him in the second but was unable to finish off Ignashov. Alexey looked good throughout the fight and at least proved that he belonged in the right with Badr Hari, which is something not many were going to give him credit for.

Zimmerman was trying to bait Semmy after Semmy hit him with that storng jab, even had the voice convinced he was hurt, but he had waaaaaaaay too much bounce in his step when he attacked shortly after.
