There is a lot of excitement to be had in the kickboxing world; Alistair Overeem has basically taken over Japan like a monster out of a film, It's Showtime has events coming up, the World Grand Prix is unfolding soon and Badr Hari's fate was determined in a courtroom today. Then, of course, comes Shoot Boxing's S-Cup. The weigh-ins are in the books and the final card order is rearing to go. Credit NOB.

If Imada can once again secure the inverted triangle and choke out Umeno, he will be the greatest in the history of greatness.
This is an awesome card, despite the losses of Krazy Horse and Foley. I’m very intrigued by Souwer v. Bovy and Buakaw v. Shishido. I also love that the Buakaw/Souwer final seems inevitable, and if it happens, that is great, but if someone along the way pulls off a miracle upset and knocks one of those 2 out, that will be great too. Also glad Ai Takahashi got a spot on the card. Less glad about Ishida, but whatever. It’s going to be a good evening.
Oh, and as for Krazy Horse – why is he off the card? Because legal troubles prevent him from legally exiting the US. Classy.

It’s not like it’s that big of a deal, but what the hell happened to Krazy Horse now? I had no expectations at all of him winning even his first fight, but I had high hopes to see how crazy he would be in these rules. He’s always been a fairly exciting stand-up fighter, and I wa sort of excited to see him go crazy on Buakaw or Souwer if somehow he even got to them… Plus, a Buakaw/Souwer vs. Krazy Horse matchup just looks crazy on paper for some reason, like I said, I was excited.
