Alistair Overeem Replies to the Big Steroid Question in Preview for Voice vs. Overeem
I've been a long time supporter of Alistair Overeem, as anyone who has read this site could probably tell you, and there has always been that nagging question for a lot of MMA fans; does Alistair Overeem do steroids? He has skirted around the question with a lot of media due to how frustrated he has gotten with hearing the same questions over and over again, but when Michael Schiavello brought the question up he was glad to discuss it. Note the way Schiavello brings up the topic, not being accusatory and being understanding. A lot of the media could learn a thing or two from him, I'd say.
The Voice Versus Alistair Overeem debuts on December 10th on HDnet.

that's fair
I think a few years is a short amount of time when you look at the drastic changes, not only from his muscles, but from his bone structure… eating horse and lifting shouldn’t change you that much and I’m just assuming he lifts though I’ve never heard of him doing that even

When
Overeem fought at 205 and wasint fighting, he walked around at 220 even more. When he fights now he’s what, between 245 – 255 range? Thats not a huge gain over a 3 year spand.

I have to disagree
it’s not normal to gain 35-50 lbs of mass after your body shouldn’t stopped growing but i really believe combat sports fans underestimate the commonality on steroid use in the sport… what % do u think, just curious?

Gaining 35 lbs of mass is well within the realm of normal at any point of someone’s life given proper training, nutrition, and dedication.

its obvious that ppl will use roids in any sport
but to nitpick and accuse on assumptions is tedious until they are proven guilty
