Jeff Monson Pulls Out of Muay Thai Bout With Patrice Quarteron
Jeff "The Snowman" Monson is a fighter who always keeps himself busy. In his post-UFC career Monson has literally fought all over the world in any and all platforms. This weekend Jeff Monsonwas set to participate in a Muay Thai bout on Reunion Island off of France against the IKF Muay Thai Super Heavyweight Champion Patrice Quarteron at the "Fight for Peace" card.
According to Riddum.com, Jeff Monson cited family problems prevented him from traveling, leaving Quarteron high and dry for this weekend. Organizers for Fight for Peace have scrambled to find a replacement for Monson, but none of them were up to snuff for the world-class Quarteron.
Quarteron had not participated in a professional kickboxing bout since November of last year when he dissected Bob Sapp, so this was a much-anticipated professional bout for the French muay thai artist, hopefully they are able to find a suitable replacement and Quarteron returns to action soon.

Quarteron is looking for a big name fight
He has called out JLB a few times now, and Monson was better than nothing. He apparently already went back to France and is pretty ticked right now.
