On Friday, Pancrase announced that Sengoku Gold Cup winner, Shigeki Osawa, will face fellow Sengoku veteran, Tomonari Kanomata on their November 3rd "Passion Tour" event. The winner moves one large step closer to fighting for the featherweight King of Pancrase title currently held by Marlon Sandro.

Any word on the prospective Hioki/ Sandro fight? I know it was rumored that they could possibly fight on the SRC 15 card, but since that match-up hasn’t yet been announced the likely of it happening on that card is not very high.
Sandro said on his Facebook last month that he was going to fight Hioki at Sengoku 15 but there’s been no announcement and the event is only a couple weeks away. It could go down on Sengoku’s NYE event if it doesn’t happen this month.
I love Sengoku, but they, just like almost every Japanese promotion, are terrible about keeping their fanbase informed of what’s going on. It’s frustrating, you know?
Speaking of Sengoku’s NYE show, are they planning to co-promote* with DREAM again this year?
*I use the co-promotion term loosely because it was really just Sengoku lending DREAM/ FIELDS their fighters.
