Semmy Schilt's New Year's Eve Plans, Errol Zimmerman on Deck

More news from the Golden Glory camp, this time regarding the rest of the camp, as we've already heard about Alistair Overeem's plans.

Semmy Schilt has been a topic of rumors lately, including a possible fight with Hong Man Choi. According to Semmy Schilt's manager, Bas Boon, this is not the case. Semmy Schilt had three fights on December 5th, leading up to the fastest World Grand Prix victory in history! Thus, Semmy Schilt has been given a hard-earned vacation by Golden Glory.

Semmy Schilt will not fight on New Year's Eve, instead he will attend a Golden Glory-sponsored vacation to Brazil and Thailand with the rest of the team to celebrate a very successful 2009. But what about the rest of Golden Glory? Errol Zimmerman has had quite a few holidays over 2009, Bas Boon has told Head Kick Legend, and is on deck for New Year's Eve to step in for Semmy Schilt. Zimmerman is actually quite upset with the judging in his bout with Remy Bonjasky, claiming he deserved the second round of their fight and an extension round. So chances are, TBS wants Hong Man Choi to fight on New Year's Eve, and the fight pitched by K-1 was for Semmy, that Hong Man Choi will fight Errol "The Bonecrusher" Zimmerman.

So look forward to Errol Zimmerman stepping into the ring on New Year's Eve while Semmy Schilt, well, enjoys Thailand.
