This weekend saw a number of Muay Thai's biggest stars compete in Italy.  The headlining fight pitted The Contender Asia Season One champion, and current #7 ranked 70 kg fighter, Yodsaenklai Fairtex against K-1 MAX veteran Marco Pique.  Pique has been largely inactive over the past few months due to the delayed production schedule on The Contender Asia Season Two, which he is set to take part in (assuming it ever happens).  The fight went the distance, with Yodsaenklai earning the decision victory.  Some fans argue that Pique should have won the fight, however according to Muay Thai scoring, this looks to me like a clear win for Yod.  Watch for yourself here.

In other notable fights, Armen Petrosyan, brother to the K-1 MAX champion, lost to Saiyok Pumpanmuang via decision; Bovy Sor. Udomson defeated Rudolf Durica via decision; and MAX veteran Warren Stevelmans scored a TKO win over Mohammed Gur.  Full results after the jump.
