Full results are now available from yesterday's K-1 Scandinavia Rumble of the Kings event.  In the three biggest fights, Rickard Nordstrom defeated Clifton Brown, Marcus Oberg defeated Gago Drago, and Artur Kyshenko defeated Abbe Joof.  Interestingly, Nordtsrom announced his retirement immediately after the fight, noting that he has always wanted to win the WMC belt, and now that he had done that, he was ready to hang it up.

From early reports, Kyshenko v. Joof sounds like one of the fights of the night, and an excellent contest worth tracking down.  This is another solid win for Kyshenko, and shows that he continues to be at the very top of the division.  For Drago, this loss is yet another frustrating turn on his roller coaster 2009.  With big wins over Sato and Kohi, this could have been Drago's year, but he's offset those wins with loses to Direkci, Yamamoto, and now Oberg.  As a big fan of Drago, he remains one of the most frustratingly inconsistent fighters.  I would love to see him really make a run at the top, but I don't know if that will happen.  Good win for Oberg here, who showed his time off in 2009 did not slow him down.  Hopefully he'll get that shot on the main MAX cards next year.
