The Sengoku/FEG Drama Continues

The Sengoku rumors continue, the latest is that there will be an official announcement tomorrow. This doesn't mean that there aren't rumors for DREAM as well, there has been an ongoing rumbling in the Japanese MMA community that DREAM could possibly be re-branded as well. The chances of both organizations rebranding into one "super brand" has been tossed around of late, and while it seems like a silly idea, anything is possible. FEG has already re-branded their MMA shows quite a few times, from ROMANEX to HERO*S to DREAM. The DREAM name has become popular over the past few years, but that wouldn't stop FEG from once again renaming and "rebirthing" MMA in Japan.

As for Sengoku? N.O.B. (via gryphon translations) shows how dire the situation is.

A notice has been put up on SENGOKU’s website, saying that the site is under maintenance and that there won’t be any news updates for the time being.

Ticket sales company T-1 has stopped selling tickets for SRC 12, writing that there will be an announcement soon.
