Yod

needs to get himself in the GP next year :). It would be interesting to see Cosmo there as well, coming off that 8 man tourney win where he beat Jabba, JWP and Tum. Also I think Hinata has earned himself to be a tad higher , beating Askerov and Zambo. And if im not mistaken I believe Joerie Mes retired recently.?

Souwer?

Does anyone think that Souwer actually beat Buakaw in their fight at Max?

I haven't watched it yet..

But I’ve heard this quite a bit.

If anything this’ll just push Buakaw away from K-1, I think.

I thought Buakaw won as well but it was a difficult fight for me to score with all the clinching.

Clinching? point deduction?

At one point the ref looks like he deducts a point from Buakaw? Am I on drugs or did this happen? I can’t remember what round off the top of my head (perhaps round two?).

There was some weird stuff in that fight. I recall it looking like they took a point from Souwer before the match even started.

Joerie Mes

Meyer – you are absolutely right. I had forgotten completely about Mes’s retirement. I’m still not 100% sure it will stick, but for now he says he’s retired, so off he goes.

Yea, Im not sure if he will stay retired either to be honest. Also, to Infinite, I thought Buakaw won as well. I also had Watanabe beating Cheon by one point.

Hopefully Kyshenko stops getting screwed by the judges and takes his rightful spot at #2 next year.

I would gladly take a Petrosyan v. Kyshenko final next year.

Hmmm, I just watched the Hinata Zambo fight. Unfortunate fight, I think I gave too much credit to Hinata before actually seeing the fight. He hit Zambo with three kicks to the groin , one of which was ruled a down! I think Hinata should have been deducted a point and of course no down should have been called.
